  • It is rumored that Fox Sports will be strongly supporting the DC with four games in all the major sports between 1999 and 2000. The rumors spring from the acquiring of Radical Entertainment and Far Sight Studios. Both have been strong sources of Sega Sports titles in the past including the Saturn NHL Powerplay and NHL All Star Hockey 98 as well as NFL 95, 96 and 98 for the Genesis.

  • Sega Rally 2's online multiplayer options will not run through the normal "internet" channels. The game instead offers different servers to connect to depending on your location. You call that server and set up your online contests. So it sounds like import gamers won't be playing Rally 2 online unless they're willing to pay insane long distance rates every time.

  • According to Ken Naito from Climax, Climax Landers has not been delayed from its June 10th release date to an unspecified date in July. Naito contacted several publications to correct them after the story appeared.

  • Gamer's Republic Magazine listed VF3tb for the Dreamcast as the number one fighting game for 1998.

  • It is rumored that Sega is porting their new arcade game Virtua Striker 2 Version 99 to the DC. The DC version will be released sometime in April.

  • Capcom has confirmed that they will make Power Stone into a fighting game series.

  • Shen Mue will include a number of mini games, one of which is Sega's classic motoracing game Hang On. You can play the game by going into an arcade in the city.

  • There will be 79 developers at the upcoming Spring Tokyo Game Show 99. It is rumored that Namco will be showing 3 DC titles, and that Capcom will unveil its serial RPG.

  • Imagineer's Dreamcast motorcycle racing game, Redline Racer, will have 3 play modes: Single Race, Tournament, and VS Mode. The game is due out in late spring.

  • Taito's DC title Psychic Force 2012 will have a new Network mode which allows 2 people to play over the network / modem.

  • Sega Enterprises Ltd. is planning to issue a number five 30 billion yen unsecured domestic convertible bond, and a 50 billion yen convertible bond in Europe, with an interest rate of 0.4 percent.
