Sega X is reporting that a Sega spokesperson has stated that US and UK translations of Sonic Adventure are well underway. The game will also be enhanced before its release, with text and voices all in english, updated graphics in areas and all minor bugs fixed. Expect Sonic to be a very big system seller over here.

Shen Mue will also be coming and it will likely receive a quicker port than expected. Due to the large amount of voice acting within the game, the US and UK ports will have subtitles rather than going through the process of hiring English speaking voice actors. I think this is great as it will not only help to retain the feel of the game as taking place in Japan and China, but it will also retain the incredibly talented voice acting that can only be found in Japan.
