| Recap Of Yesterday's News |

There was no update yesterday because I was stuck in bed with the flu. We've gotten some terrible weather here lately and I've been stuck shoveling snow for the past two weeks. The flu came down on me hard yesterday and I couldn't even get out of bed. So here's what I missed yesterday to go along with all of today's news:
- Developer Ecole has announced their first DC game, a sequel to a Saturn game, Death Crimson 2. The story reveolves around a wife murdered by her husband who comes back as a ghost to wreak havoc on his life. The original was poorly received by critics and gamers alike leaving little hope for the sequel. Don't expect this one to hit North American shores.
- Sonic Adventure sold 182,090 copies in Japan during the week of December 28th to January 3rd, landing it at number 7 on Famitsu's sales charts. Considering the number of DC's sold to this point, Sonic is selling to almost 3 out of every 4 DC owners.
- The DC Tech Pages have images of the Dreamcast Set 5 development kits from Edge Magazine in Britain. The Set 5 kits have all the features of the final retail version of the DC. Check them out.
- Dreamcaster is reporting that Rage is planning their second PC to DC conversion with a port of their game, Expendable. Apparently they already have a version of the game up and running on a Dreamcast. here is some information on the game from Rage's website:
You play a space marine who is dropped in to a series of unfamiliar alien worlds to fight for the survival of your race with a huge arsenal of apocalyptic weapons at your disposal. The ability of the game engine to freely mix outdoor and indoor environments (such as tunnels, underground bases, ruined cities etc.) creates a beautiful world for the player to explore- and destroy!
- The DC Puru Pure Rumble Pack will be released on March 4th for 1800 yen, or $16 US. The following titles will be compatible with it: Pen Pen Triicealon, Godzilla Generations, Sonic Adventures, Tetris 4D, Sengoku Turb, Psychic Force 2012, Puyo Puyoon, Evolution, Power Stone, Pop n' Music, Aero Dancing, and Monaco GP Simulation 2.
